A new year jitters
The beginning of 2020 has been bleak. From forest fires, floods, and volcanoes in the southern hemisphere to the possibilities of World War III in the Middle East the world seems to be restless. However, starting a new year has always been exciting. A set of achievable goals has always been the key to have a successful year.
DSI in 2020
DSI embraces the beginning of the year with a new spirit and optimism. Its broader management and larger team are prepared to embark in this journey, focusing in spreading sustainable development worldwide through a solid cooperation with clients and donors. Public projects and SME support are the two keys of focus of DSI for the 1st quarter of 2020.
In this first quarter of the year, DSI is providing its technical assistance to:
1- Lesotho to develop guidelines for their policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation to boost the SME sector,
2- The Republic of Laos to develop an action plan for boosting their SME,
3- Côte d’Ivoire to develop a macroeconomic model, and to conduct an evaluation ex-ante of the 22 ministries,
4->Guinea, Conakry to design an information system of public investment program.
