The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MPDE), with technical support from DS Institute, officially launched the Integrated Public Investment Program Management System (SIGPIP).

Conakry, Guinea. After more than 2 years of work with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, DS Institute officially delivered the Integrated Management System of the Public Investment Program (SIGPIP). The ceremony took place on January 31, 2020, in the presence of the Minister of PDE, representatives of the UNDP and the African Development Bank (ADB). The SIGPIP allows Guinea to be one of the first countries to completely dematerialize its entire procedure for the development, execution and supervision of the public investment program. This system, fully accessible online, allows flexibility in the management of public programs and projects in Guinea. In addition, Guinea becomes one of the first countries in Africa to systematically include a logical framework in each of the PIP projects.
