Context
The overall objective of the mission is to strengthen national capacities for programming and monitoring public investments in Guinea by setting up an integrated information system for programming and monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs, development of the country, adapted to the realities of the different actors of the process of planning and development management in the country.
This platform is scalable, open, secure, flexible, scalable, interfacing with the budget and debt management system and capable of providing timely information relevant to programming, managing, tracking and measuring progress in the execution of projects and programs.
Objectives
Strengthen national capacities for programming and monitoring public investments in Guinea.
DSI services provided
• Conduct needs analysis to provide the ministry with choices for the content of the integrated information system.
• Develop a full-web IT Application of the Integrated PIP Information Platform.
• Provide application presentation, stakeholder training, system deployment, technical support to ministry staff and improvement of the integrated information system,
• Launch a fully working and stable version of the integrated information system.
• Provide a twelve (12) months maintenance / evolution of the system and technical support of the platform after the official platform launched.
Results
- Development of an information system for the management of public investments;
- Manual for the preparation and implementation of the PIP;
- Quick start manual for the Information System.
