This independent evaluation intends to assess the socio-economic impacts of the NDC’s proposed climate measures and policies, including adaptation and mitigation co-benefits, in order to inform key decisions for meaningful and appropriate low carbon and climate-resilient development towards sustainable development for Eswatini. The assessment was to be conducted with a focus on gender and the principles of Leave No One Behind (LNOB), utilizing these concepts in the evaluation process and methods to ensure inclusivity and promotion of equality in the long-term vision and strategy.
