Field Mission – Data collection for the feasibility study of the mechanism for monitoring the impact of public and private investment on employment in Côte d’Ivoire

Meeting with Mr. KOFFI N`GUESSAN, President of the N’ZI region, representative of the President of the Assembly of Regions and Districts of Côte d’Ivoire (ARDCI)


The data collection phase for the feasibility study of the mechanism for monitoring the impact of public and private investment on employment in Côte d’Ivoire took place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from 26 February to 5 March 2024.The mission was led by Dr Gaston GOHOU and his team.
The objective of this phase was to meet stakeholders in the employment sector in order to take stock of their existing information systems and databases on employment.
The DSI team met with various stakeholders, including

  •  Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI),
  • Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance Sociale (CNPS), 
  • The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI),
  • Direction Générale de l’Emploi (DGE),
  • The Assembly of Regions of Côte d’Ivoire (ARDCI),
  • Centre de Promotion des Investissements en Côte d’Ivoire (CEPICI), and
  • The National Chamber of Trades of Côte d’Ivoire (CNMCI).
