DS Institute is assisting the Government of Sudan in developing the framework for preparing the country’s Vision 2040. This assistance included
(i) drafting a strategic guidance note for Vision 2040;
(ii) developing a national coordination framework to ensure participation of all stakeholders and maximize national ownership of the planning document;
(iii) preparing an action plan to guide the government in the process of preparing the National Development Plan (NDP) and
(iv) assist the government in ensuring that the NDP is aligned with international, regional and other planning frameworks such as the SDGs, the AU vision, the country’s economic reforms, the social protection program and environmental conservation programs.
